The Georgia Bulldogs organization has removed it’s artificial turf field and re-purposed it for a dedicated practice field.
This is just another great examples of how artificial sports turf outperforms natural grass. Natural grass requires intense maintenance, involving mowing, fertilizing, and watering that artificial grass doesn’t. While sports turf does require some maintenance to ensure the playing surface is safe for athletes, it doesn’t come close to the demands of natural turf.
Georgia took one of its FieldTurf — or artificial turf — fields from the Woodruff complex and re-installed it on the Club Sports grounds.
