There’s about a dozen different materials that you could put down on the floor of a batting cage, but none of those compare to the resiliency of sports turf. Both our indoor and outdoor sports turf use a slit filament design to minimize hits impact on our grass.
The cost of a batting cage can vary wildly, but with AGL the cost of turf stays consistent. Sports turf costs between two and four dollars per square foot. You’ll also need to factor the price of installation into your final cost.

The primary difference between indoor and outdoor turf is their backings. Quality outdoor turf features backings with optimized drainage.
Since you typically don’t need to worry about rainfall in an indoor setting, indoor turf is not built with drainage in mind. Placing this outdoors will result in flooding, product damage, and eventually mildew.
