Novel Media, a creative agency that helps brands build exposure and have worked with the likes of the NFL, NHL, and Verizon, was in dire need of artificial turf. And not just any fake grass, it had to include the 20 yard line. Cameron Gordon, the visionary behind Novel Media, was in search for this specific type of grass for an upcoming video shoot for the NFL Player’s Association and the journey that each rookie must make on their path to prominence in the NFL. It was the 20th anniversary of the NFL Player’s Association Rookie Premiere, and Novel Media were already making plans to use large stencils and painting an unused piece of turf with the 20 yard line marks.

Luckily the Producer God(s) was/were smiling down upon me as I came across (Artificial Grass Liquidators). With minimal expectations, I explained to the salesman what I was planning on doing and he immediately smiled ear-to-ear. An easier sale was never to be had. He takes me around the back of the facility and unravels a HUGE piece of turf with the 20 yard line on it. The only piece of a football field he had available. What are the odds?
